Popular demand for this year’s ACE UK Cruise Convention had led to more business sessions are being added to the three day event taking place in Southampton between 24-26 June.
With ship visits to NCL’s Epic and Compagnie du Ponant’s Le Boreal now sold out, agents can take advantage of additional sessions including how to market themselves as ‘cruise agents of choice’, how to get the best out of networking opportunities and how to sell with additional confidence – all designed to improve the customer experience and increase the number of cruise sales. Law firm partner Joanna Kolatsis, Director of Cruise Baltic Bo Larsen and training and development consultant Debbee Dale will be hosting the additional sessions.
Princess Cruises is announcing that it will be bringing some celebrity sparkle to the UK Cruise Convention.
The glamorous Stacey Solomon will be taking her family onboard Ruby Princess for a relaxing and rejuvenating Mediterranean cruise. As someone who is new to cruising, Stacey will be filming a video diary of her Princess cruise experience, to be shown to delegates during the main convention.
Leading cruise executives including David Dingle, Carnival UK CEO, Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Azamara Club Cruises and Kevin Sheehan, CEO of NCL will be addressing this year’s ACE UK Cruise Convention which takes place in Southampton between 24-26 June.
The three highly respected practitioners within the global cruise industry will cover topics including upselling to luxury, the value proposition of cruising and the state of the industry. TV personality Judith Chalmers will moderate the sessions.
A record six ships will now be showcased at this year’s ACE UK Cruise Convention with news that Le Boréal, the latest addition to the Compagnie du Ponant fleet, will be making her UK debut at the event.
The ACE UK Cruise Convention takes place from Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 June and will now feature visits to four newly launched ships - Celebrity Eclipse, P&O Cruises’ Azura, NCL’s Norwegian Epic and Compagnie du Ponant’s Le Boréal. Travel agents will also be able to visit Cunard’s QM2 (25 June) and take advantage of a pre-Convention opportunity to view Princess Cruises’ Crown Princess on Wednesday 23 June.
The Association of Cruise Experts (ACE) and Travel Weekly are teaming up to hold a competition for five lucky agents to win a free place at the 2010 UK Cruise Convention.
The winners will each be assigned to one of the five ships in port during the convention, and will report on their experiences for Travel Weekly. They will also contribute to Travel Weekly’s multimedia coverage of the convention, business sessions and spectacular social events.
The event is in Southampton from June 24-26, and includes visits from:
